Kiss dating goodbye?

Friends,

The statistics on teen sexual activity are shocking and the results are devastating; from pregnancy to abortion to sexually transmitted diseases...but what about the implications for our faith?  Should Christian kids be dating?  Holding hands?  Hugging?  Kissing?  Before you cry LEGALISM you might want to consider our sin nature and our inability to effectively deal with temptation.

I recently went through the Passport to Purity program from FamilyLife with my 14-year old son (check it out here) and it led him to make a rather bold decision: he wants to save his first kiss on the lips for his wife on his wedding day!  Is that kind of thinking over-the-top or is he on the right track?
