Bible study for dummies?

"Here, then, is the real problem of our negligence. We fail in our duty to study God's Word not so much because it is difficult to understand, not so much because it is dull and boring, but because it is work. Our problem is not a lack of intelligence or a lack of passion. Our problem is that we are lazy."  -R. C. Sproul

Friends,

Most Christians struggle when it comes to spending time in God's Word, but is it really just laziness as R.C. Sproul suggests?  Most of us lead very busy lives and it's hard to carve out the time, right?  If you don't read the Bible consistently are you somehow less of a Christian?

Join me this Saturday at high noon Eastern as I discuss this challenging topic with Steve Wiggins of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California (Greag Laurie's church).  Steve is a five-time Grammy Award nominee and was the lead singer of Big Tent Revivial, one of the top-selling Christian acts of the 90's.

Steve is also a gifted Bible teacher and a few years ago he started The Living Room Study, a chapter-a-day Bible study group that meets in coffee houses all over Los Angeles (click here).  How can we become passionate, committed students of God's Word?  Join me this Saturday and let's find out!

LIVE on The Truth Radio Network, SIRIUS Satellite Radio Ch. 161, or online at C2AThisWeek.org!
