"Social Justice" = Socialism?

Recently, talk radio host Glenn Beck had some pretty strong words for the "social justice" crowd, suggesting that "social justice" is just code for socialism.  Beck went so far as to say that if your church starts talking "social justice" you need to get out of there ASAP!

Welfare.  Healthcare.  Unemployment.  The homeless.  The unemployed.  The poor.  All of these fall under "social justice" in one way or another, so does "social justice" require socialism?  Is it the government's job to take care of these issues?  Isn't it "the right thing" for the government to do?
